Since she was small, Tainá Bevilacqua already dreamed of being an actress. As a girl, she used to ‘perform’ at family gatherings during the Christmas holidays and Carnival, she took hold of every costume to become a “character.” At age 14, she moved out to Rio de Janeiro together with her family; due to this fact Tainá was introduced to the career which she dreamed about throughout her childhood. In the new city, she met the world of theater and had her start on the stage, through “Companhia dos Bananas“ by the actor and director Vitor Hugo. “I dreamed of being an actress and also to start working in television. At this time, I had never been to a theater. As long as I stepped on a stage for the first time, even only to learn, I realized it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life”, she said.
The arts was introduced to her by the first teacher, that made her have more certainty about her choice as a child. “my teacher talked to me and also showed the theater in a way that left me impressed. There, I took for granted that what I wanted was to transmit emotions to the people. The theater changed my life as a person and I decided to support others just like me to follow their dreams as well,” she stated.
Even after becoming familiar and falling in love with the stage, she decided to follow her father’s footstep and consequently attended the Chemistry College at CEFET University in Rio de Janeiro. However, it was another “chemistry” that caught the attention of the young actress. After all, even acquiring a “new profession”, she could no longer leave the background art. “College was my down to earth. Nevertheless, It didn’t enchant me. My delight was in the arts and I felt I had to fight for what I wanted,” she said.
So, she ran towards her goals. First in pursuit of knowledge: many theater courses, interpretation and cinema, and theatrical performances became part of her routine. She is still eager to learn more and more. Her child’s dream became true a few years later, through a test for television. In spite of not playing the main role, she was invited to another job. Her debut on TV was in the soap opera “Flor do Caribe” in 2013. Then, she also draw the audience’s attetion in the soap opera “Babilônia” on Globo TV , which gave life to the character, while young, played by Glória Pires the leading actress of the story.
Tainá follows acquiring new knowledge – theoretical and practical – about the art in which she was enchanted as a child. Now she goes in search of learning more about cinema. In parallel, pursuing a degree even in the communications field: Publicity and Marketing.
