Known in the 90's as one of Xuxa's paquitas, Bianca Rinaldi became the perfect example of a professional seeking constant evolution and striving to improve at each new project. Having taken acting lessons, become successful and made her own place in the market, this São Paulo-born's talents were put to the test when she interpreted two characters at the same time in the Soap Opera Os Mutantes – Caminhos do Coração. “When my career as a paquita came to an end, I felt all I wanted was to be an actress, so I started learning. Now, acting is a great part of my life. I love what I do and I want to become better and better at it. It is rewarding for me to be able to move and entertain people,” says Bianca. Her debut as a TV actress happened in Globo TV's soap opera Malhação (1997). Since then, Bianca's career has been on a constant rise, with growingly important roles. In the job that followed, Chiquititas (1998) – a partnership between SBT and the Argentine Telefe – , she interpreted Andréia, her first role as a villain, and in the following years she took her plunge into the main roles of Pícara Sonhadora (2001) and A Pequena Travessa (2002). She then played Joana in Prova de Amor (2005), and two years later her name figured among the main stars in Record TV's cast as she played the main role in Caminhos do Coração, bringing Maria into life. On stage, Bianca has acted in seven plays. The first one, in 1999, was As meninas, by Lygia Fagundes Telles, followed by Aluga-se um Namorado, Tudo de Mim, A Pedra Mágica, Jeitinho Brasileiro, A Vida Íntima de Laura e Amor de Comédia. Movies are still a goal to be reached, she says. Although she's acted in some movies, she is interested in going much deeper in the universe of the seventh art. “I'd very much like to be in movies, besides getting more and more TV and theatre characters,” she says. Although in 2001 she was granted the “Revelation” award by the Brazilian Academy of Art, Culture and History, and has been going through a great professional moment since then, Bianca is keenly aware that building an acting career is a long and winding road. “Despite having interpreted five main roles, I am aware that I have still much to learn and grow within my profession of choice. I'm sure my career is in the right path,” says the young star. |
